Event - 3B at the Botanical Gardens

December 2008

In December, the children in year 3 went to visit the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston. This was part of the weather, climate and St. Lucia topics that the children were being taught in geography.

While they were there, they got the chance to go to the various types of greenhouses, which include the Mediterranean house, the arid house and the tropical house.

The children got the chance to sketch some of the plants which grow in these types of climates and find out a bit about which animals can survive there.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
