Event - Science Week

23 to 27 March 2009

Clifton had our first 'Science Week' in school this term.

During the week there were lots of exciting Science activities going on:

• Eggs hatching in Nursery – children from other year groups went to help build a nest for the chicks.
• Science experiments.
• Year 6 went on a trip to Parkview Learning Centre: they made and launched rockets, carried out experiments involving exercise and found out about how astronauts live in Space.
• Quantum Theatre Company came and put on a show for us about Light and Sound.

It was lots of fun!
