Event - Year 3 go to ThinkTank

November 2011

In November, Year 3 had an exciting trip to the ThinkTank at Millennium Point. The whole year group went and had an excellent day.

During the day, children visited the different exhibitions in the Science Museum, finding out about: the history of Birmingham; how forces are used in everyday life; how robots may change our future.

However, the highlight of the day was the Under Your Skin workshop! This was linked to Year 3's science topic and was all about the human body, from teeth and how to look after them to what we should eat to keep healthy. Children took part in this active workshop and had lots of fun.
