Event - Year 6 Visit Blakesley Hall

October 2008

At the end of October, Year 6 children visited Blakesley Hall, which is a Tudor house in Birmingham.

It was built in 1590 for Richard Smalbroke, and we spent the day finding out how he lived there as part of our History topic on the Tudors. We explored clothes, toys, music and dance. It was a fantastic day!

We explored the house as part of our topic on the Tudors.

Here is a Tudor lady and her maid.

Some of us got tired and took a nap in the four poster beds!
