Event - Destination Imagination in the USA

20 to 24 May 2008

Destination Imagination is a school friendly program that builds participant's creativity, problem solving and teamwork in enjoyable and meaningful ways. Some of the goals for DI are to:

Foster creative and critical thinking.

Develop teamwork, collaboration and leadership skills.

Nurture research and inquiry skills.

A team of Year 5 children from Clifton Primary school, through their hard work and endeavour qualified by competing locally and nationally to represent the UK in the DI global finals held in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The team along with Ms Fortnum and Mrs Sheldon spent a week in the USA taking part in competitions, meeting people from all around the world, making new friends and most importantly of all having lots of fun!
