Event - Clifton Goes Mad for Farmhouse Breakfasts!

17 to 21 January 2011

Clifton Primary pupils tucked in to a range of special breakfasts during Farmhouse Breakfast Club Week.

From January 17th to 21st, pupils were treated to a delicious start to the day, prepared and cooked by staff and parents. The week was designed to encourage children to eat 'the most important meal of the day' and try new foods, with a view to cooking them at home.

Pupils experienced a range of foods from around the world, with Asian, Yemeni and English breakfasts and meals served alongside our normal breakfast club favourites; toast and cereal. The Nursery did their own special event on the Thursday, with parents joining the little ones to eat and drink.

Special thanks to all the staff and parents that helped prepare, cook and serve the food. All the money raised from the event will go towards funding the Bockleton residential trip for Year 4 and 5 pupils, in May.
