Event - Staff Visit to Gambia

December 2010

In December, Ms Bi, Miss Barton and Miss Redhead visited Gambia for a week with the Schools for Gambia charity.

The main aim of the trip was to visit the school of Pallen Fulla in Farafenni: this was where the well was built as a result of Clifton's fantastic fundraising last year. During the week, the teachers spent time in the school getting to know the staff, children and villagers, and also teaching within the school.

They had an amazing time, as you can see in the photos below which show some of the highlights of their trip.

Ms Bi, Miss Barton and Miss Redhead were very sad to leave all the friends they made in Gambia, however, they have high hopes that they will see them again as it would be fantastic to welcome some of the teachers of Pallen Fulla to Clifton.
