Event - Dads and Kids visit Tamworth

30 March 2010

As part of Clifton's SAG group, Clifton Primary School took all the pupils involved and their Dads on a trip to Tamworth. We visited the Snowdome, for a fun session in the snow and then took a guided tour of Tamworth Castle.

Everyone had a great time and pupils really appreciated spending a day out with their dad. Even lunchtime was fun, with pupils and their dads (or other male carers) jumping and climbing in the Castle style adventure playground!

Mr Lamprey, who accompanied the participants exclaimed "It was great to see the children sharing experiences with their fathers, learning and having fun at the same time!".

The trip was part of a year long programme of events for the SAG group.

Fun in the snow.

"It's cold in here!"

Steady, Mr Anfous!

"Give me a push, please".

Listen carefully Dad. There will be a test after!

One Dad ready for the battle.

We loved dressing up.

Say good afternoon to the Lord and Lady.

Who's been a naughty boy?
