Event - Clifton Support the Davis Cup Win

Congratulations to Great Britain's Davis cup team on their win over Japan, a successful start to their defence of the trophy won in December!

Clifton Primary pupils were at the Barclaycard Arena on Tuesday 1st March to watch the team practice after a invite from the Midlands Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

Pupils had a brilliant time watching Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot practice their doubles play. They then had a photo with the Davis Cup and asked the pros some testing questions.

The visit was part of a great relationship the school has with Midlands LTA through its work with Cannon Hill Park Tennis and the Edgbaston Priory Club. We can't wait to play in our first tournament of the year, the Calthorpe School Sport Partnership event at Cannon Hill Park on the 14th March.
